Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP)

To become a licensed nurse practitioner in Massachusetts, applicants must hold an active RN license in the state, complete a graduate-level nurse practitioner program accredited by a recognized body, and obtain national certification in their chosen specialty (Massachusetts Board of Registration in Nursing, n.d.).
