- Proclamation of Amnesty and Reconstruction (10% Plan) – Lincoln
- Andrew Johnson’s Reconstruction Plan
- Congressional Reconstruction Plan (Congress)
Then, in one (1) to two (2) paragraphs, address one (1) of the following:
- Analyze if the South should have been treated as a defeated nation or as rebellious states.
- Explain how the American culture and society changed in the North versus the South during Reconstruction.
- Analyze the impact of the Compromise of 1877 that ended Reconstruction on African Americans.

The Reconstruction period was a time of reconciliation & reconstruction in the Southern U.S., so it contributed significantly to the legacy of human liberties and race justice inside America. United States administration endeavored to cope well with the reunification of the Eleven Southern states which had already left hand the coming together, as well as 4 truckloads of freshly liberated colonized peoples, throughout that turbulent period (Longley, 2021)
