Conflict is common in healthcare settings. Common team sources of conflict include hierarchical relationships, authority differentials, poor communication, negative or disruptive behaviors, and multigenerational interprofessional teams.
Include the following sections:
- Application of Course Knowledge: Answer all questions/criteria with explanations and detail.

During my nursing practice, I encountered a conflict between a registered nurse (RN) and a patient care technician (PCT) regarding the delegation of tasks. The RN in charge of patient care supervision ordered the PCT to check the blood glucose level of an assigned patient.
